The S&P Global Greece Manufacturing PMI eased to 53.2 in April 2025 from 55.0 in March, indicating a solid improvement in operating conditions despite slower growth momentum. Output and new orders rose supported by sustained client demand and increased preference for domestically produced goods, although the pace softened from March’s 10-month high. Export orders saw only a marginal rise. Supply chain disruptions continued, with longer delivery times and a slight increase in backlogs. Employment increased for the fifth consecutive month, but the pace of hiring slowed to a three-month low. Input cost inflation eased to its weakest level since February 2024, leading to a softer rise in output prices. Business confidence remained above the series average, supported by planned investment in machinery and product development, despite dipping from March’s peak.
