The annual inflation rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to 4.8% in July 2025, the highest since June 2023, up from 4.6% in the previous month. The increase was mainly driven by faster price gains in housing and utilities (1.4% vs 1.0%), restaurants and hotels (7.5% vs 7.2%), and other goods and services (3.8% vs 3.4%), alongside moderated declines in clothing and footwear (-5.3% vs -7.5%) and transport (-3.2% vs -4.3%). In contrast, slower price increases were recorded in alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.7% vs 3.8%), furnishings and household equipment (1.0% vs 1.1%), and health (6.1% vs 6.4%). In addition, food and non-alcoholic beverages inflation remained stable at 10.8% in July. On a monthly basis, consumer prices inched up 0.2% in July, following a 0.3% gain in June.
