Poland’s annual inflation rate was confirmed at 3.1% in July 2025, matching the preliminary estimate and easing from 4.1% in the previous month. This marked the lowest level since June 2024, led by slower price growth in housing and utilities (4.4% vs 10.5% in June), as well as in communication (4.1% vs 4.4%), restaurants and hotels (5.8% vs 6.0%), and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (6.5% vs 6.7%). In contrast, prices rose faster in recreation and culture (3.4% vs 3.3%), miscellaneous goods and services (1.7% vs 1.3%), education (8.6% vs 8.0%), and health (4.7% vs 4.6%), while the decline in transport costs slowed (-4.6% vs -6.0%). In addition, food price growth held steady at 4.9%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.3% in July, confirming preliminary estimates and following a 0.1% rise in June.
