The US Dollar is finding support after dropping to a six-week low in the previous day, with traders awaiting the JOLTS Job Openings report.

India's BSE Sensex closed about 0.8% down at 80,737.5 on Tuesday, marking the third consecutive session of declines, as worries over global trade tensions and foreign outflows overshadowed optimism about a potential rate cut by the Reserve Bank of India. Heavyweight financials and tech stocks led a broad sell-off, with foreign investors reducing their holdings in both sectors for a second day, after a five-day buying streak. Among notable movers, Adani Ports declined 2.4%, in tandem with most other stocks from the Adani conglomerate, after a Wall Street Journal report said US prosecutors were investigating whether Adani entities had imported Iranian LPG into India via the Mundra port. The group has refuted any claims of "intentional involvement" in evading sanctions. Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, PowerGrid, Eternal (Zomato) and IndusInd Bank were also among the top losers. Mahindra & Mahindra emerged as the only gainer in the pack, rising about 0.5%.

Indian rupee, bonds set to be among top three Asian beneficiaries of foreign inflows, BofA Sec exec says.Indian markets will likely be among the top three in Asia to attract foreign inflows once tariff-related uncertainties ease, with the rupee and local currency-denominated bonds benefiting the most, an executive from BofA Securities told Reuters.

In Mumbai, the SENSEX Index dropped 636 points or 0.78 percent on Tuesday. Losses were led by Bajaj Finserv (-1.74%), Larsen & Toubro (-1.58%) and Bajaj Finance (-1.57%). Offsetting the fall, top gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra (0.32%) and Dr.Reddys Laboratories (0.10%).
