In Milan, the FTSE MIB Index went up by 983 points or 2.29 percent on Monday. Top gainers were Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (5.33%), Banco BPM SPA (4.80%) and Mediobanca (4.64%).

In Frankfurt, the DAX Index rose 408 points or 1.73 percent on Monday. Leading the gains are Commerzbank (6.73%), Siemens Energy (4.49%) and Deutsche Bank (4.21%).
