早期的输家包括Bajaj Finserv(-1.6%)、Mahindra&Mahindra(-1.4%)、Bajaj Finance(-1.1%)和Maruti Suzuki(-1.0%)。
The BSE Sensex fell 82 points, or 0.1%, to 80,901 in morning trade on Friday in a choppy session, as traders booked profits after snapping an eight-session losing streak with a sharp surge in the previous session. The downturn was primarily driven by weakness in auto stocks, financial services, and consumer goods. Investors also remained cautious amid concerns over the US government shutdown and calls from Democratic senators for the release of key jobs data. Uncertainty surrounding US-India trade talks further weighed on sentiment. On the positive side, an upbeat session on Wall Street overnight and the Reserve Bank of India’s Wednesday announcement of new measures to boost bank lending and deepen banks’ role in capital markets helped limit the decline. Among the early losers were Bajaj Finserv (-1.6%), Mahindra & Mahindra (-1.4%), Bajaj Finance (-1.1%), and Maruti Suzuki (-1.0%). For the week, the index is on track for a 0.6% gain after declining in the previous week.
