Meanwhile, new tariffs are set to take effect tomorrow, including a 25% levy on imports from Mexico and Canada and an additional 10% tariff on Chinese goods. The tech sector was the worst performer, with Broadcom tumbling 3.7%. Other major tech stocks also declined, including Apple (-0.6%), Microsoft (-1.1%), Amazon (-1.1%), and Alphabet (-0.7%).
