Traders also focused on a fresh wave of corporate earnings. Legrand led the index, with shares jumping 9% after reporting strong growth in FY 2024 net profit and setting a 6% to 10% sales increase target for FY 2025. Essilor followed closely, rising 7.2%, after a strong earnings report showed higher net profit and revenue for FY 2024. Michelin also saw a 4.9% surge despite a 4.1% decline in 2024 net profit. The luxury sector remained buoyant, with Kering leading the pack, adding 4%, followed by LVMH, Hermes, and L'Oréal, which each gained between 2.1% and 2.8%.
