Exports from Thailand soared 14% yoy to USD 26.71 billion in February 2025, following a 13.6% surge in January. This marked the 8th consecutive month of export expansion and the fastest pace since last October, boosted by agricultural and agro-industrial products. Exports of industrial products surged by 17.2%, due mainly to higher sales of computers, equipment & parts (51.3%), automobiles, equipment & parts (4.5%), rubber products (16.9%), and machinery & mechanical components (21.5%). Meanwhile, exports of agro-industrials rose by 9.9%, including fresh, chilled, frozen, and processed chicken (9.3%), pet foods (14.4%), and canned and processed fruit (22.5%). Conversely, agricultural product exports dropped by 1.6%. Among trading partners, exports grew to the U.S. (18.3%), China (22.4%), and the EU countries (4.5%) while declining to Japan (-3.1%) and the ASEAN (-1.1%). For the 1st two months of the year, exports rose by 13.8% yoy. In 2024, exports grew 5.4% to USD 300.5 billion.
