Producer prices in Sweden fell by 0.6% year-on-year in July 2025, easing from a 3.1% decline in the previous month and marking the fifth consecutive month of deflation. This was the mildest deflation since March, primarily due to significantly smaller contractions in energy-related products (-0.8% vs -9.2% in June) and capital goods (-0.2% vs -2.4%). In contrast, inflation in consumer goods accelerated to 2.0%, up from 0.8% in June. Excluding energy-related products, producer prices declined by 0.6%, a smaller drop compared to the 2.3% decrease recorded in June. On a monthly basis, the Producer Price Index (PPI) rose by 1.1%, the first monthly increase in six months, rebounding from a 0.6% fall in June.
