此外,与阿拉斯加天然气项目相关的股票因获利回吐而下跌,如Seah Steel(-10%)、POSCO International(-7%)、韩华海洋(-6%)和SK gas(-1%)。
The benchmark KOSPI dropped 0.6% to close at 2,616 points on Tuesday, as losses in Hyundai Steel and companies tied to an Alaska gas project offset a rally in automakers. However, a strong lead from Wall Street overnight helped limit losses amid easing concerns over upcoming reciprocal tariffs from the US. Among individual stocks, Hyundai Steel plunged 7%, its steepest drop since August 5, 2024, despite its $5.8 billion US investment plan. Additionally, stocks linked to the Alaska gas project retreated on profit-taking, such as Seah Steel (-10%), POSCO International (-7%), Hanwha Ocean (-6%), and SK Gas (-1%). Other notable losses were seen from chip and shipbuilders. Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor (3.3%) and sister automaker Kia Corp (2.1%) rallied after the automotive group announced a $21 billion investment in the United States with President Donald Trump.
