On the corporate front, financial stocks led the gains, with UniCredit (+2%), Intesa Sanpaolo (+1.6%), Mediobanca (+1.3%), Banco BPM (+1.2%), and Bper Banca (+1.4%) among the top performers. Other notable gainers included STMicroelectronics (+1.9%), Prysmian (+1.3%), and Buzzi Unicem (+1.5%). Despite the rise, the index remained on track for its second consecutive weekly loss.
