在60年代的Beatles、Led Zeppelin、Jimi Hendrix、Queen、Mamas & Papas到90年代的Lisa Loeb、Sheryl Crow、Silverchair的听觉洗礼下，经年埋首创作，99年通过滚石杂志网站发表的单曲跃登冠亚军，「恋爱世代」(Dawson`s Creek)制作班底制作的影集「Wasteland」也选用蜜雪儿四首歌曲，2000年独立发行的专辑「Broken Bracelet」逐步积累创作的轨迹。
在亚利桑那州长大的蜜雪儿加盟Maverick音乐厂牌的专辑「The Spirit Room」，由制作过Melissa Etheridge、Chris Isaak、Stevie Nicks、The Corrs、BBMak等歌手乐团专辑的John Shanks掌舵制作；蜜雪儿一手包办词曲创作，韧度超强的自信音色，驾驭朝气满溢的吉他摇滚风采，偶而坠入迷惘的心情角落，专辑已获滚石杂志乐迷乐评4颗半星超高评价。
蜜雪儿以「The Spirit Room」为她自己跟音乐架起心情的桥梁。
